This is the second Daily Thought! in a series about how life and success are very much like running.

Last time we talked about making the decision… to be a runner.

To be successful. To be, or become, whatever that thing is. You decide!

For me, it’s running.

Running parallels life and success.

While you can “run against others”, that’s never really the point.

Just like in life.

The “race” is against yourself.

Also, like life and success, running isn’t about getting from point A to point B.

It’s about the run itself.

Starting the run.

Getting through the initial lift to find your first rhythm.

Feeling the run.

Doubting that you can finish.

Getting through the doubt.

Finishing.

Running is literally the cliché – life is a journey not a destination.

If you’re going to run, you might as well enjoy being on that run.

Just like life. You might as well enjoy being on your journey.

Otherwise, why are you even on it?
